1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyWeddingPlan ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

2. Description of Service

MyWeddingPlan is a wedding planning platform that provides tools for budget management, guest tracking, vendor coordination, and other wedding planning activities. The Service is designed primarily for weddings in the United Kingdom.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access
  • Immediately notify us if you discover any security breach or unauthorized use of your account

4. Pricing and Payment

MyWeddingPlan offers both free and paid tiers. For paid tiers:

  • All payments are one-time payments (no recurring subscriptions)
  • Prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP)
  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe
  • Once paid, you receive lifetime access to the purchased tier
  • Upgrades are available by paying the difference between tiers
  • Downgrades are not available once an upgrade is purchased

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us within 30 days of your payment for a full refund. Refund requests after 30 days will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a license to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to submit content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, or violates any third-party rights
  • Contains viruses or malicious code
  • Is spam, advertising, or promotional material
  • Impersonates any person or entity

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by MyWeddingPlan and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYWEDDINGPLAN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
